This free event held in Washington DC, on September 27, 2019 will be a great opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to learn more about the structural engineering profession, connect with other local structural engineering students, meet with local professionals, participate in the career fair, and get exposure to future potential employers. The program will include presentations by local engineers and a keynote speech by Chief Technology Officer of Thornton Tomasetti, Robert Otani. Presentations will touch on a variety of introductory and in-depth topics within the field of Structural Engineering. There will also be a career fair attended by many of the premier local (and global) structural engineering firms. With the local construction market heating up and structural engineering offices busier than ever, this will be a great opportunity to get your resume in the hands of local companies and secure a full-time or internship position for the coming year. Please note there is a 100 person limit (first come, first served basis) for the presentations and lunch. There is NO limit for the Career Fair, starting at 2:00 pm.
