This free event held in Washington, DC on September 24, 2021 is a great opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to learn more about the structural engineering profession, connect with other local structural engineering students, meet with local professionals, participate in the career fair, and get exposure to future potential employers. The program will include presentations by local engineers and a keynote speech. Presentations will touch on a variety of introductory and in-depth topics within the field of Structural Engineering. There will also be a career fair attended by many of the premier local (and global) structural engineering firms.
This will provide member firms a unique opportunity to expose themselves to a concentration of structural engineering students form universities across the mid-Atlantic.
Please note that to best protect the health and safety of students, presenters, and career fair representatives, all attendees at Next Step 2021 will be required to show proof of full Covid-19 vaccination at event check in.
