Post-installed anchorage to concrete: critically important, convoluted to design by hand, and a ubiquitous source of error in the field. How hard can it be? The Younger Members Group invites you to come find out for yourself, with a hands-on demonstration hosted by Hilti.
The demonstration will take place at Hilti's store in Beltsville, MD. Participants will try out several types of anchors and learn about installation procedures. Dinner will be provided. Registration is required and closes Thursday 6/2.
Parking is available on site. YMG will coordinate carpooling from the Greenbelt Metro station. We may need to make multiple trips, so if you need--or can provide--transportation from the metro, please let us know by replying to this email.
