Wood Inspections - The Current State of Things – A Panel Discussion

Construction inspections are an important part of the building process and play a critical role in ensuring the final product meets the construction documents. In commercial construction, inspections for materials such as steel and concrete are clearly defined and codified, but what about wood construction? What is currently required by code and how as an industry can we improve upon these minimums? Please join us for this discussion to hear from our distinguished panel of designers and inspectors.

Presenters:

  • Christopher Pinto, PE, LEED AP – Senior Principal & Managing Director at Walter P Moore
  • Charles Mitchell - Director / Testing + Inspection at SK&A
  • Kellie Farster, PE – Senior Associate at Walter P Moore
Schedule:
  • 6:00-6:30 - Happy half hour (cash bar)
  • 6:30-7:00 - MO meeting and salads / appetizers
