Rebuilding Together 2026 - Save the Date
Rebuilding Together is a nationwide home repair and rehabilitation initiative dedicated to keeping low-income homeowners living in safety, warmth, and independence through volunteer services. On the last Saturday in April, teams from all over the country will spend the day making repairs and improvements to their assigned project homes. SEA-MW has partnered with local chapters in Maryland, Virginia, and DC since 2011, and many of our volunteers join us year after year! The SEA-MW team has consistently been at least 20 to 30 people on rebuilding day, in addition to 10 job captains who prepare and organize projects. In the past, SEA-MW has completed concrete repairs, plumbing repairs, bathroom repairs, replacing doors and windows, exterior and interior painting, landscaping, flooring repairs, fence construction, screened-in porch repairs, etc. Rebuilding Together knows our team can get a lot of great projects done in challenging environments—they are so excited each year to see what we do for our homeowners! Learn more. No experience necessary—just a willingness to make an impact on someone's life.
We will send information on the specific projects and requested tools closer to the date. Rebuilding Together will provide construction materials. If you have questions or you are interested in being a task leader, please contact Ting Wang (twang@wje.com), Camille Stefani (cstefani@wje.com), and Rob Cole (rcole@wje.com).
Save the date! Registration opens in February!
